At Brook Hill International Kindergarten, we are dedicated to providing our little ones with enriching experiences that extend beyond traditional classroom learning. Our recent visit to Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade was a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to explore the wonders of nature and deepen their understanding of the natural world.
Jevremovac Botanical Garden, a stunning green space in the heart of Belgrade, offered our little ones a unique environment filled with diverse plant species. The garden’s rich collection of flora, including vibrant flowers and towering trees, captivated the children’s imaginations and provided a perfect setting for exploration and discovery.
In the Jevremovac botanical garden, we were greeted by guides who explained to the children everything about plants, as well as various interesting facts that made the trip even more fun for the children.
The children had the opportunity to see the greenhouse, which holds many fascinating plants from all over the world, and after that, the best part of any day in the botanical garden followed – a visit to the Japanese Garden!
The Japanese garden is a beautiful part of the botanical garden, modelled after traditional Japanese gardens. It is built to reflect three elements: stone, water and plants. The most interesting “tenant” of the Japanese garden for our youngest, was the colourful koi fish.
The children enjoyed visiting the wonderful oasis of nature in the centre of Belgrade, they had the opportunity to learn interesting information about plants and have fun.
